Arsenic Kit
Untreated industrial effluents and overuse of chemical fertilizers are the point source of Arsenic in drinking water. Prolonged exposure to Arsenic can be fatal. It can cause gastrointestinal symptoms diarrhea, vomiting and stomach pain. High level of As can cause kidney damage,impaired nerve function and skin cancer.
Kit Components
- As Reagent 1
- As Reagent 2
- As Reagent 3
- As Reagent 4
- Color comparator
- 2 plastic spatula
- 2 plastic droppers
Procedure
- Take 50ml of water sample in a testing jar.
- Add 1 ml of reagent R1 with dropper.
- Add 1ml of reagent R2 with dropper.
- Add 1 spatula of reagent R3.
- Add 1 spatula of reagent R4.
- Shake well.
Adjust the strip to the sample container without dipping into the sample. Close the stopper. After 30 mins, match the color of strip with the color comparator.
