Sulfate Kit

Sulfate minerals cause the buildup of scales in plumbing tools. High sulfate alters the taste of water and makes it unfit for drinking. Sulfate minerals mostly enter our water supplies by mining and weathering rocks.

  • Sulfate Reagent 1
  • Sulfate Reagent 2
  • A beaker

Test Procedure:

  • Take 20ml of the water sample.
  • Add two drops of R1.
  • Add three drops of R3.
  • Shake it well.
  • Give it two minutes to stay.
  • Take a reading by first running a blank, then a standard, and finally a sample.
