EIA is an essential tool because it involves public participation. It is the right of the public to raise their concerns about the proposed activity happening in their surroundings. EIA is a step towards environmental conservation. EIA identifies the possible effects caused by humans to their natural environment and proposes mitigation measures to cope with the environmental loss. It is a detailed study with the geographic and technical specifications.
